Ulster Regional Irish Restaurant Awards 2025 Winners Announced

April 2nd, 2025 – The Ulster Regional Final of the Irish Restaurant Awards took place last night, celebrating the best of the food and hospitality industry across the province.

Hosted at the Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan, on Tuesday, April 1st, the event recognised exceptional talent across Ulster’s hospitality sector, with county winners announced across eighteen categories.

With over 700 attendees, the night was a true showcase of the passion, creativity and hard work that define the industry. Now in its 16th year, the Irish Restaurant Awards continue to grow, with almost 165,000 public nominations submitted via The Irish Times, the official media partner of the awards.

As the regional celebrations continue, excitement is building for the All-Ireland Awards Gala Dinner, where both provincial and national winners will be crowned. The highly anticipated event takes place on Monday, May 19th, at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin. County winners from Ulster can now secure their tickets for what promises to be a fantastic evening.

Speaking at the event, Seán Collender, President of the Restaurants Association of Ireland, said:

“Tonight, we celebrate the passion and resilience of those who drive Ulster’s hospitality sector forward. The past year has presented challenges, but the commitment, innovation and hard work of these individuals continue to elevate our industry.”

“The Ulster Regional Awards are a testament to the talent and dedication that make this province a key player in Ireland’s food culture. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees, you are the heart of this vibrant industry.”
